Arts and Crafts at Bayside
The summer’s fun continued this past weekend with an Arts and Craft project, taken from the history books of Bayside RV Campground. Thanks to all who participated!
Ken and his wife Doris camped at Bayside for 15 years. Ken used to make recycled pop bottle wind Birds… commonly known as “Whirlygigs” by all the Bayside RV campers. Though he sadly passed away , there are still quite a few decorating the seasonal’s spots around the campground with his artistic touch on them.
15 or more kids participated, and all walked back to their trailers proudly carrying a bit of Bayside RV Campground history. We also made recycled pop bottle birdfeeders, as suggested by one of the camper kids (thanks Hannah #1!).
It took an army of folk to make it happen, so thanks to Boots (a.k.a. Allison) for collecting the bottles in the first place, thanks to kim for cutting them into whirly bird shape, thanks to Paula for volunteering to help… and thanks all the parents + deb who gave a hand to make art and craft day a rounding success.

A big thanks to all the participants who came out and made our annual Bayside RV Campground “BEST IN SHOW” a rounding success.
